I am interviewing my Grandma Huget.
She is going to live with us in France.
Are you excited about France?
I am very excited about France. I love France and I love my grandchildren. So spending a year living with them is such a treat that I can't believe it. I have stayed with them when their mom and dad were on vacation and had the most fun I have had in a long time.
What do you think you are going to do when me, Katie, Ellie and Joey are going to be in school?
There are many things that will keep your mom and I busy. Learning to cook the French way. Learning to speak French well. Hanging all of your clothes on a line in the basement.
Joey interrupts with his own question, why does an ant pee?
Ummmm. I am not sure.
Do you think you are going to meet someone from Scotland?
Oh. Hmm. What an interesting question. How will I know if someone is from Scotland?
Well then they will speak Scotlandishness.
Well in that case then I will know for sure that they are from Scotland!
In France, can you sign Joey up for ballet?
You know, I think the French would love to teach Joey ballet.
Yessss!!
Do you think you will go to jail in France?
Well, your mom is an attorney and if I end up in jail, hopefully she will come and get me out.
Now you can go play hockey with Joey. Thanks Grandma.
You are a good interviewer.
Of course I am.

I am interviewing my younger brother, Joey.
Are you excited about France?
Um. A little bit.
Why?
Um. I am kind of happy that have our own pool and that I can play rugby and soccer. That's it
On the first day of school in France, what do you think it will be like?
I don't know.
Why? Are you clueless?
No, I am not clueless.
Do you like the idea of sharing a room with Ellie?
No. I like my own room.
Remember Joey, don't make your room stinky.
Ha ha.
What do you think the airplane ride will be like. Do you think an old dude will be sitting next to you?
I think it will be the boringest ride.
Boringest should be a word.
Yeah.
What do you think you are going to do in France, besides sports stuff and the pool?
I am just going to play video games all day.
You do know that we only have one dinky TV?
So. I can still play video games on it.
If the pool has a giant ant in it that drinks up all the water, what are you going to do?
I would step on it.
The ant is too big for you to step on it.
Then I will throw a soccer ball at it and then I will step on the rest.
The ant ate you. The end.
The ant did not eat me! Now goodbye peeps.

awesome
Me, Gabi, is going to France for 10 months with a big house to live in. It has a pool in the backyard. A kitchen. 8 bedrooms. 2 bathrooms and 1 play/junk/kitchen room.
My mom has a blog too. It is called Fracassi Family in France.
I am awesome.
It is true.
When I am in France I am a little worried about my grades, and a little worried because my principal speaks English. So if I call a teacher a big meannie pants, then the principal will know and understand.
On the first day of school for me the French people wil be talking like la ferme, bonjour, paillettes and I won't understand what they are saying and I won't care what they are saying.
From me,
the awesome Gabi
